Solid food at a very affordable price. Service was good and refilled waters constantly. Ambiance was a bit bizarre but didn't detract from the meal.
This place was chill, and the food was great. They have different specials for each day which are well worth it. Service was attentive too!
Excellent seafood and fried food!! Came with a friend who makes a tradition out of visiting whenever in New Haven and i can see why--everything was fresh and high quality. Even the fried food, which I expect to not be fried to order, was freshly made. My highlight was the fried shrimp--others loved the shrimp boil with a side of rice.
I'm a fan Cajun Boiled Seafood since 2019. And I saw they have developed quality of products etc. Mussels, Crawfish, Shrimps, Cob bigger than before. And I don't mind if they have to adjusted price every year. And they have a good package for togo carry because I never dine-in at here always togo. My favorite sauce is Garlic Butter (Spicy). Never try special menu for a week and I will try it next time.
The decor is smart and sparks conversation, the staff is friendly and timely. The drinks are cold and the derived is warm, a great start, in addition to our BBQ wings, which were hot in temperature and packed with flavor and meat. We had the mild, blended seafood boil with king crab legs, mussels, and crawfish. The blended flavor of cajun and garlic butter was delicious, the corn on the cob was tasty, smashing up the potatoes in the sauce was tastier. The boil was perfectly done and presented. Armed with lots of table top weaponry, we were excited to dig in. What an awesome spot for seafood boil, 10/10 would visit again!
